The CPFA

Cascia Parent Faculty Association (“CPFA”)

The Cascia Parent Faculty Association promotes all Cascia programs and works to bring parents closer to their student’s educational, spiritual, physical and social experiences. The mission of the CPFA is to support the school’s mission and assist in effective communication among parents, administration and the public. When you come to Cascia Hall you quickly become involved by being a member of the CPFA. A membership in CPFA as a Cascia parent will make you an important part of the mission and provide you with a greater appreciation of your child’s Cascia experiences.

CPFA enlists volunteers through 40 different committees and programs, as well as two major fundraisers, The Cascia Christmas Walk and this year's "Destination Cascia", slated for April 18, 2009 from 6:30 to 11:00pm (save the date and watch for more information).

Programs, Events & Fundraisers
  • Class Brown Bags
  • Back to School Faculty Luncheon
  • Ladies Tennis Tournament
  • Make-A-Difference Day
  • Middle School Tailgate Party
  • Communion Breakfast
  • Baccalaureate Dinner

Over the past 20 years CPFA has generated more than $2 million through these two major fundraisers, which has helped fund many important Cascia projects. Recently, CPFA contributed to the new Performing Arts Center with a collective donation of $350,000.00. Last year, CPFA presented the school with $190,000 for facilities improvements and the Endowment Fund.

Every volunteer effort directly benefits Cascia students and their growth opportunities. Being a part of CPFA programs will connect you to your student’s life at Cascia …and you’ll meet many wonderful families with the same vision for an exceptional educational experience for their children.

Cascia Hall is truly a Community you grow to appreciate as your family progresses through the years.

Cascia Hall has a strong commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of its students. It is Cascia Hall's belief that drug and alcohol abuse endangers the safety and well-being of its student body. Cascia Hall's commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment requires a clear policy relating to the prevention, detection, and treatment of substance abuse.

Please take a moment to read the Proposed Draft of The Student Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy and Testing Program.

Cascia Hall Headmaster, Fr. Bernie Scianna, O.S.A., Ph.D. has published "A Community of Faith" which is a history of Cascia Hall. The book traces the school from its inception to the Cascia Hall of today. Fr. Bernie relates its turbulent times as well as its positive impact on several generations of students and the community it serves.
