State Speech and Debate Tournament
Three Cascians were recognized for their performance at the State Speech and Debate Tournament in April 2018.
Each student placed in the final round of their respective events. Lewis Guillory is state finalist in poetry, Jack Maricle took 3rd place in prose, and Diamond Mack is the 2018 state champion in poetry!
At an earlier competition, Jack Maricle qualified for the National Speech and Debate Tournament in Fr. Lauderdale where he ranked 62nd out of 250 (Top 25%) in Humorous Interpretation and 90th out of 420 (Top 22%) in Prose.
