Mix-It-Up At Lunch Day

Today the CHAI (Cascia Hall Acceptance and Inclusion) Club sponsored Mix-It-Up at Lunch Day with special seating arrangements and games for the Upper School. Students were encouraged to sit at a different table with different lunch mates and play games designed to help them get to know each other. Another Mix-It-Up activity--Movienight--is scheduled for Thursday at 7 pm in Mrs. Sims' classroom. Popcorn and snacks will be served as students watch "The Greatest Showman.

"I love Mix-It-Up Week because it really helps build unity among students by having them engage in different events together. My favorite event is always the Post-it-Note compliments because you never know how much you need a compliment until you get one! Being President of CHAI Club definitely makes me more appreciative of all the organization and participation this week takes." Ciera Fitter '19, CHAI Club President

"Mix-It-Up Week is a great opportunity for Cascia Hall students to exercise Unitas, one of the Augustine core values. I love how students are able to interact with new faces while having fun playing games. Students look forward to the sweet surprises that come with this week -- free popsicles, music between breaks, Post-It-Note compliments, and the Mix-It-Up lunch. It is a refreshing week and a new tradition which cultivates inclusion and acceptance throughout the student body." Mary Erdmann '19
