Middle School Strength, Speed, and Conditioning Development

Cascia Hall will be offering strength and conditioning sessions for all 6th-8th graders (male or female) beginning on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The primary goals of the program are as follows:
  • Provide young athletes with knowledge of the fundamentals of weight training
  • Develop strength, speed, flexibility, mobility, and agility
  • Improve each athlete’s overall fitness as well as his/her confidence
  • Begin to cultivate group camaraderie and the group habits necessary for success in high school athletics
Sessions will be approximately one hour long and will provide different variations of strength, cardiovascular, and speed training. There will be three sessions each week (12 total per month). Student-athletes enrolled in the program are not required to attend all sessions, but it is strongly advised that they attend as many per month as possible. Doing so will best ensure maximum results and will also serve to build habits fundamental to success in high school athletics. As it presently stands, sessions will occur on the following days/times:
  • Each Wednesday from 3:10-4:10 PM
  • Each Saturday from 9:00-10:00 AM
  • Each Sunday from 1:00-2:00 PM
Changes in schedule are possible  but will be communicated to parents/students at least 24 hours in advance**

Enrollment in the program will be on a month-to-month basis. The cost of enrollment is $80 per student-athlete per month (checks are made out to Cascia Hall). This payment will be due at the first session of each new month. Further, it is possible to enroll mid-month (or at any point in a month); however, the full enrollment rate of $80 will still apply.

If you are interested in enrolling your student-athlete, please contact Coach Jared St. John at jstjohn@casciahall.com.
