Middle School Cheer

Plan to come to this meeting if your daughter wants to cheer next year for the MS teams.

Hello, Middle School parents,

My name is Michelle Capps, Cascia Hall’s Cheer Director, and I’m contacting you with exciting news about our Middle School cheer program! If your daughter is interested in becoming a sideline cheerleader for the 2019 Cascia Hall Middle School football season, this information is for you!

Cheerleading is a wonderful way to meet new friends, build self-confidence and develop key leadership skills. Our Middle School program is a perfect opportunity for girls with or without cheerleading experience to learn the proper foundation of cheerleading. We focus great motion, jump, and stunt technique, as well as, performance and choreography skills such as sideline dances and half-time performances at football games. We will also have a special Middle School and varsity cheer performance at our all-school pep rally in September.

Our cheerleading season begins the first week in August and continues through the month of October. Practices will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15  -5:00 pm. Cheerleaders are required to cheer at the Tuesday night 7/8th grade football games and the Saturday 6th grade football games throughout September-October.

Our new Middle School cheerleading coach and I will be hosting a parent/athlete Middle School cheer meeting on May 13 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in the Dining Hall to cover our cheer schedule and answer any questions you might have. *All students must attend the meeting in order to be fitted for their cheer uniform and warm-ups.

If you have questions about Cascia’s Middle School cheer program before our meeting, please feel free to contact me via phone or email. See you in May!

Thank you!
