National Junior Honor Society

The Driscoll Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society at Cascia Hall Middle School was established in 1986 to recognize those students who embody the qualities of good character, scholarship, service, citizenship, and leadership as defined by the national organization.
In order to apply for induction in April, current eighth-grade students will have achieved in each of the last three semesters a grade point average of 3.5 or above. The Advisor will notify candidates of their eligibility in January and will distribute to students application forms in which they will demonstrate the above characteristics in action in their city, school, and church communities. Applications will be due to the Advisor in mid-February.

In the spring, those eighth-graders who have qualified as to the above criteria will be inducted into the Driscoll Chapter at a candle lighting ceremony in St. Rita Chapel to which family and friends will be invited.
