Murphy Selected for Elite Archery Program
On November 27, 2019, the United States Archery Association announced the athletes invited to participate in the 2020 Regional Elite Development (RED) Program, and 7th grader Lydia Murphy was included. Lydia is one of 11 young ladies between the ages of 13 and 17 selected to represent the South RED Team (Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana).
As a member of the RED Team, Lydia will shoot at national events as well as attend camps throughout the country to train with some of the best archers in the United States, including past and current Olympic athletes.
