Eby's Incredible Minimester Experience
Chandler Eby interned at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. John’s Medical Center for the month of January.
She shadowed several doctors including Dr. Miranda (pictured) who is a pediatric intensive care doctor, Dr. Phillips who is also a pediatric intensive care doctor, Dr. Ranne who is a pediatric surgeon, and Dr. Huddo who is an emergency room doctor. She spent most of her time in the PICU learning about various diseases and conditions and how to treat them. She was able to scrub in on some surgeries as well as spend time in the ER! "It was such an incredible experience," she commented.
