Murphy Joins US Archery Team
Seventh-grader Lydia Murphy signed a contract last week to be a member of the 2020 United States Archery Team (“USAT”).
She has committed to what will be a rigorous training regimen and participating in major competitions throughout the United States, including numerous Olympic Qualifiers (which will allow her to begin establishing a national ranking). Last weekend she competed in the United States Indoor Nationals at Texas A&M University where she placed second in her division. For the rest of this year, she will be required (and excited) to wear her TEAM USA uniform (and gear) at all competitions and events.
