Dear Cascia Hall Upper School Students and Parents,
I hope you have been enjoying your summer and staying safe as we navigate through this pandemic. I am very excited about the beginning of the school year, and I would like to welcome all of our new and returning students to the 2020-21 academic year. The theme of this school year, chosen by our student leaders, is “MAKING HISTORY”. I am looking forward to the high expectations and the legacy of our school theme.
As you know, Cascia Hall is blessed with an excellent community and we are focused on serving all those within the community. I look forward to entering the 2020-21 academic year and seeing how the core values of Truth, Unity, and Love will guide us and bring excellence to all we do! We will be sending out information on the protocols and safety measures that we have adopted for the fall semester by the middle of July. Please be on the lookout for that information.
Over the next two weeks, please take the time to log in to your myCASCIA account from our website, www.casciahall.com, and choose your student from the upper left-hand corner. This will take you to your student’s personal page. Please notice two very important items:
- All required forms are online this year. There will be a YELLOW banner across the top of the page once you log on, to show you have online documents to fill out. It is imperative that all of these online documents are completed by August 1.
- Click on the Schedule tab to view your student’s daily schedule. Please advance to August 2020 to view your student’s fall schedule. All schedule change requests must be made in person by the student on one of the dates listed below. No emails or phone calls will be accepted. Requests will be considered by the Upper School (US) office and are dependent on the class size. There may be some changes to the order of your classes up until the first day of school as we will be constantly balancing class sizes, so please review your schedule prior to the start of school.

There will be a sign-in sheet in the US main foyer at Mrs. Heatherman’s desk and students will be seen in that order.
I look forward to seeing everyone and starting what we expect to be a wonderful new school year. There are high expectations within the student body as we begin the legacy of “MAKING HISTORY” for the 2020-21 academic year.

Cascia Spirit Buy Day: Dining Hall
9:00 a.m. to Noon
- View and purchase new Cascia gear for Spirit Dress.
- Purchase blazer patches.
- Sign up for CAP (Cascia Athletic Parents) Club.
- CPFA (Cascia Parent/Faculty Association) – Get information about upcoming events and sign up for committees and volunteer opportunities.
If you are unable to make it to Spirit Buy, the Commando Store summer hours are 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. The Commando Store is located in the main foyer of the Upper School.

- 9:00 AM check-in US Spielmann Gym
- 10:45 AM load bus and travel to Main Event
- 2:30 PM arrive back at Cascia Hall

New Student Orientation
8:00-11:30 a.m.
This is for all 9th-graders and any new upperclassmen.
Wednesday, August 19
School begins – LATE ARRIVAL
8:50 a.m. in 1st-period class (Welcome Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m.)

Picture day (full dress)

Upper School Back-to-School Night
- Parent Social at 5:30 p.m. in the Dining Hall
- 6:00 p.m. Parents proceed to their child’s 1st-period class (schedules can be obtained on myCASCIA)

Please note that PSAT/PreACT will be on October 14 (9th, 10th, 11th-grade students take these exams and are dismissed at noon. Seniors do not have any classes).
