EIS is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children five and younger in the Tulsa area whose families are in dire straits. Over the last several years, we have established an EIS Junior Board which consists of high-achieving high school students from across the Tulsa metro area.
The Junior Board offers these student leaders a chance to serve their community and learn first-hand how nonprofits operate and the critical role fundraising plays in an organization’s success. They spread awareness of Emergency Infant Services’ mission in high schools and throughout the community and organize a fundraiser each year. The experiences that these students gain through the Junior Board are great for building their college resumes as well as equipping them with additional leadership skills that will prepare them for future leadership and growth opportunities in their college careers.
Junior Board Applications for 2017-2018 are open until September 25, 2017. We accept applications from students in grades 10 – 12.
