The Performing Arts Center

The Performing Arts Center, which includes the Davis Family Lobby and 733-seat Helmerich Theatre, opened in the fall of 2006 and has been the perfect venue for hosting many Cascia Hall student performances and art shows.

The Davis Family Lobby
has a sweeping, curved design with a wall of windows overlooking the Ray Siegfried II Football Stadium. The 33-foot ceiling and second floor balcony walkway create a spacious elegance.

The Helmerich Theatre
seats 510 on the first level and 223 in the balcony. The stage is 46 feet wide by 27 feet deep with an 18-foot tall proscenium and a 30-foot fly gallery. A hallway crossover connects the right and left wing space. The theatre boasts professionally designed acoustics, an ETC lighting system, and state of the art sound equipment. Other features include an optional orchestra pit or extended stage apron, a video booth, and video projection capabilities. Backstage facilities include a green room, men's and women's dressing rooms, and a scene shop.
