New Class Schedule

We are excited to introduce our new class schedule, designed to provide students with enhanced curriculum flexibility and personalized learning opportunities. This schedule emphasizes practical college preparation, fosters intentional development of time management skills, and strengthens our academic support structure, ensuring every student can thrive and succeed.

G.U.I.D.E.

G.U.I.D.E. stands for Guided Understanding and Independent Development Experience.

G.U.I.D.E. Requirements
6th-9th grade will have 3 required G.U.I.D.E. courses per semester.
10th grade will have 2 required G.U.I.D.E. courses per semester.
11th-12th grade will have 1 required G.U.I.D.E. course per semester.

S.O.L.O.

S.O.L.O. stands for Self-Organized Learning Opportunity.

  • Self-directed student work periods
  • Independent study time
  • Teacher consultation opportunities
  • Homework completion
  • Personal academic growth




As students progress through their Upper School academic career at Cascia, they will have increasing opportunities for S.O.L.O. periods depending on their course load. Middle School students will not have S.O.L.O. time.
