Keyboarding skills are an essential part of students’ academic success and future readiness. As technology becomes a daily part of learning and work, being able to type efficiently helps students share ideas, complete assignments, and communicate with confidence. Strong typing skills support success in school now and open doors for future career opportunities. This course is designed for students at all levels—from beginners learning proper hand placement and basic techniques to high school students who want to build speed, accuracy, and confidence on the keyboard.

Through structured lessons and consistent practice, students will build proficiency in typing while developing lifelong skills. We will use a free, underutilized resource that allows students to continue practicing independently at no additional cost, ensuring sustained growth beyond the classroom.
