She completes the required school form and will need the student's complete name exactly as it is on their birth certificate and their date of birth. This form has the raised school seal on it and must be picked up in person.
NetClassroom access for our students and their families was turned OFF at 8 am on Thursday, December 14 so teachers can post semester grades. Access will return on January 4, 2018.
You are invited to a Christmas Benefit Concert! Fr. Brian Barker OSA and Fr. Benedykt Pazdan will perform music from their five CDs. The concert will be Friday, December 29th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Broken Arrow. All proceeds from CD sales will go to charities; a free will offering will be taken as well to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Outreach in Broken Arrow.

Congratulations to CFO Karen Tennery who was presented the 2017 Augustinian Secondary Education Association (ASEA) award following the all-school Mass this morning. This award is given to faculty and staff who have made an exceptional effort to uphold and promote the Augustinian values of Truth, Unity, and Love in their lives and on the job. Karen has served at Cascia since April of 2001.
Cascia Hall will have late arrival for grades 6-10 on Wednesday, December 13. The 11th and 12th grade students will have a mandatory Minimester meeting at 8:00 am in the PAC.
The Class of 2018 has 23 students who have not completed their Caritas Project hours which were due April 30, 2017. Some members of the Class of 2019 are in need of service hours as well. The Christmas Walk finale is the festive Starry Starry Night party this Thursday. The night begins enjoying cocktails and artwork from 6-7 pm in the PAC and a shuttle will then take guests to the Engelbrecht's home to enjoy a night of food, fun,drinks and music. You may still purchase tickets for $100 each at Mrs. Heatherman's desk.
Join us Tuesday, December 5 at 7 pm in the Scianna PAC for the annual Instrumental Christmas concert, featuring the US Beginning Guitar students as well as the US and MS Handbell Choirs. Soundcheck on stage for handbell students is 6 pm. Soundcheck for all guitar students is 6:15 pm. Dress code is nice jeans or khakis with button-down shirts.

It’s time once again for the annual Cascia Hall Choral Christmas Concert! This annual event is a treasured tradition for many Cascia families and features both Upper School and Middle School students. The concert is Wednesday, December 6 at 7:00 pm in the Cascia PAC and is free and open to the public. Join us for a night of beautiful music that is sure to bring out the Christmas spirit in everyone!

The St. Nicholas Toy Drive is in its 15th year at Catholic Charities. This program has served over 300 families and as many as 800 children each year. Last year, Cascia students provided 140 children with Christmas gifts. Families that are eligible to participate in this years’ program have worked closely with Catholic Charities' caseworkers to identify their children’s Christmas wishes and needs. All donors who participate will truly feel the unique spirit of giving!
There will be a Boys' Soccer Player/Parent meeting on Tuesday, November 14, at 6 pm in the Dining Hall. All boys interested in playing soccer are required to attend.
Jostens will be on campus during 2nd lunch on Tuesday, November 14 to take orders for senior rings. Please look over the information given to you at Wednesday's meeting and go to Jostens.com to design your ring. Print out the information and bring it to school with a $50 deposit on Tuesday, November 14. This is the only time that Jostens will be here to take orders.
The Key Club is sponsoring an all-school food drive next week to benefit the Food Bank. Collection boxes will be in first period classes beginning Tuesday morning, and donations will be collected until Friday. The first period class with the most items per student will receive spirit dress at a date to be determined.
Jostens will be on campus during 2nd lunch on Tuesday, November 14 to take orders for additional graduation items and senior rings. An $80 deposit will be required for orders totalling more than $80; payment in full will be required for orders totalling less than $80.
Note: Your cap and gown, 25 announcements, and 50 name cards will be provided. If you need additional announcements, you will need to place an order on November 14. This is the only time that Jostens will be here to take orders.
The Cascia Hall 6th Grade Football Team will play at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, against McAlester for the Indian Nations Football Conference "AA" Championship. The game will be played at the Glenpool High School Football Stadium. Come out and support the 6th Grade Commandos Football Team! It will be televised on Cox.
Each year, the Honors Performance Series, a program through Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House, allows high school students from around the world to be a part of their prestigious Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House performance series. This year, two Cascia Hall seniors, Celyn Grigson (left) and Wilson Hoyt, auditioned and were selected as members of the Carnegie Hall Honors Choir. Wilson Hoyt was also accepted for the Sydney Opera House Honors Choir.

Minimester contracts and emergency release forms are due in Mrs. Coleman's office by Thursday, November 16. The Minimester project is a grade that will appear on your student's transcript. A completed contract will be their first grade towards the Minimester project. Questions concerning an internship need to be directed to Mrs. Coleman. Questions concerning a hospital placement need to be directed to Mrs. Millspaugh. Questions concerning Caritas during Minimester need to be directed to Mrs. Leighty.
Varsity Basketball Tip Off Night is Wednesday, November 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We will have a fun night of team performances, contests and prizes, music, and Varsity Cheer. Teams from 6th grade to Varsity will be a part of the festivities, and it is free to the public. We do ask for a canned food donation to the John 3:16 Mission for their Thanksgiving food baskets if you like.
The CH Acceptance and Inclusion (CHAI) Club is conducting a drive this week for Emergency Infant Services. Please bring your donations to school by Thursday, November 2. Wednesday, October 18 is CAP Service Day for the Middle School with a noon dismissal. Sixth grade will visit Frost ECDC, seventh grade will visit McClure ECDC, and 8th grade will visit Disney ECDC. Students will read books, play outside, help with lunch, and complete projects for teachers during our time at each site. All Middle School students will have Relaxed Dress for their service day.

Junior Ambassadors (JA) is a group of high school students who are actively involved in the fight against hunger through the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. The JA experience provides selected students with a unique program designed to create awareness and take action.

Three Cascia students were members of the 18 & under team selected to represent the entire Missouri Valley Section at the Juniors National Championship Tournament held at the United States Tennis Association headquarters in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida on Sept. 29- Oct. 1, 2017. Members Brock Hannagan, Sydney Hoose (Freshmen) & Patrick Zetik (Sophomore) team took 10th out of 16 teams for the nation.

The annual fund is an integral part of our budget and our goal for this year is $380,000. EIS is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children five and younger in the Tulsa area whose families are in dire straits. Over the last several years, we have established an EIS Junior Board which consists of high-achieving high school students from across the Tulsa metro area.

Cascia Hall Tennis is pleased to announce that we are partnering with the Vince Westbrook Tennis Academy (VWTA) at TU for our off-season players to train in their program.
Grade checks began this week to determine eligibility for Cascia Hall athletics and competitive clubs. Each athlete must be passing, a 60% or higher, all classes in order to participate in athletics.
Middle School 7th and 8th grade tryouts will be held on Saturday, September 16 at the Cascia tennis complex. The girls will start play at 10 am and the boys will start play at noon.

She will be competing along with five other Tulsans who are committed to the cause. The dancer who raises the most funds will be the winner! The Brittany Dance, Film & Theatre Foundation, a Federal nonprofit, is presenting a benefit silent auction and Ballet performance this Thursday night, August 24, featuring the Ballet of Puerto Rico in the Cascia PAC. This is the first time they have performed in Oklahoma!
Fr. Brian's new CD "On the Way," is now available at the Commando Store and in the Campus Ministry office.
This is Fr. Brian's 5th CD. Along with Fr. Ben Pazdan, who plays guitar, the two priests have included "Mary Did You Know" and "Hallelujah" along with several original songs written by Fr. Brian.
The cost is $15, and all proceeds go to charity. You can pick up any of Fr. Brian's CDs at the Commando Store or in the Campus Ministry Office.
Our Cascia Parent & Faculty Association was able to give the school $175,000 from fundraising efforts last school year. The money has been allocated to Library improvements, support of STEM activities, and providing financial aid.

A current-year Pre-Participation Evaluation must be provided annually by:
1. All new students entering Cascia Hall for the first time, 2. All Middle School students because they take Physical Education classes, and 3. All Upper School students who plan to participate in extracurricular athletics.
Four Cascia students were selected for the Carnegie Hall Honors Performance Series. Two of those students were also selected for the Sydney Opera House Honors Performance Series.
Erika Ravitch and Braden Milford were invited to present at the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair in Pittsburgh in May where Braden won Third Place in Environmental Engineering.
