Maricle Attends Summer Institute in NYC
Senior Jack Maricle recently attended the PACE University Summer Scholars Institute in NYC. Thirty-four students from seventeen states were accepted into the Theatre Arts-Acting Program.
Students were introduced to the fundamentals of collaborative performance and creating original work. In addition, they learned how to develop a character, analyze a text, and uncover the playwright’s intention. Each student prepared and presented two contrasting monologues to PACE faculty members. Upon completion, Jack received 3 college credits and a scholarship to the University. Congrats Jack!
