Junior Travis Guilllory has advanced to the second round of the National CS Music Vocal Competition in both the classical and the musical theater divisions. Travis was chosen for this round based on his video submission last month.
High school students are eligible to compete in the first round, and then top performers are chosen to go on to round 2. The second round of competition will be held in Washington D.C. at the National CS Music Convention in May. While at the convention, Travis and teacher Candy Coonfield will have the opportunity to attend masterclasses and lectures from various performing artists and music professors. Based on his competition results, Travis will also have the opportunity to receive scholarship offers from various music schools. Good luck Travis!
