Join Living Arts Youth Arts Council

The Living Arts Youth Arts Council is a new program dedicated to exposing high school students to contemporary art discussion and creation.
The Youth Arts Council (TYAC) will meet on the last Thursday of each month in the fall from 4:30-6:30 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays in the spring from 4:30-6:30. In the fall, TYAC  will meet with various local, regional, and national creative leaders to develop a plan for the spring semester. Then, the students will have the opportunity to participate in an in-depth exploration of contemporary artwork creation. Attendance and full participation are a very important part of TYAC. If accepted into the program, students must work with their schedule and their parents' schedules to actively participate. Students may not miss more than one meeting in the fall, and no more than two absences will be accepted in the spring. Students must attend a high school within the Tulsa area, and must be in good standing with their school. At the end of the program, those students who have displayed an exceptional level of participation will have the opportunity to receive a stipend as a camp assistant during the New Arts Camp in July, thereby gaining real-world experience within the fine arts.
