Black History Month - Simone Biles
Today we celebrate Simone Biles, the American artistic gymnast and the first female African-American all-around world champion.
Her many medals and awards, including 30 Olympic and World Championship medals, makes Biles the most decorated American gymnast and the world's third most decorated gymnast. This 2019 AP Female Athlete of the Year holds 19 World gold medals, the most ever in gymnastics history. Gymnast icon Mary Lou Retton has called Biles the "greatest gymnast ever."
