Art Howe Day
June 15, 2020, was proclaimed Art Howe Day by Mayor G.T. Bynum ’96.
Cascia Hall would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Art Howe for his 49 years of dedicated service to Cascia Hall Preparatory School. Mr. Howe began teaching math and science at Cascia Hall in 1971 and was chair of the Math and Science Department for several years. He also developed the initial Cascia Hall computer network and was responsible for the computer system for more than two decades. Outside of the classroom, he was the inaugural softball coach and led the team for six years. When asked what he will miss most about teaching, Mr. Howe responded that he will miss learning something fresh each year and the daily interactions with the students, faculty, and staff.
